Quinsigamond Community College has partnered with National Grid to offer a Natural Gas Technician Certificate Program. This 12-week non-credit program is targeted towards individuals seeking career opportunities in the growing natural gas industry.
This program serves as an introduction to the Gas Industry and will expose you to the job tasks, work methods and safety practices utilized by various workforce positions in gas construction, maintenance, and customer service.
All classes will be taught at the National Grid Millbury Learning Center by highly experienced gas industry instructors. The program runs 2 nights a week and one (1) Saturday per month totaling 90 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on practice in state-of-the-art laboratories, and outdoor gas training simulation areas using actual tools of the trade.
Applications due April 27. Upon receipt of completed application and required documentation, your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified if you are authorized to proceed.
