The DCU Center

The DCU Center has one of the nation's most successful arenas, hosting musical acts of national and international fame, innovative trade shows, concert theater productions, and exciting family and sporting events. In addition, the DCU Center is home to the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League. The team will begin its inaugural season of play in Worcester in October 2006.

The DCU Center has a new, state-of-the-art convention center with 100,000 square feet of exhibit space, 24,000 square feet in 11 meeting rooms, and a 12,100 square foot ballroom - the largest in Central Massachusetts. Combined with the 14,800-seat arena, the DCU Center can accommodate almost any meeting, convention or trade show.

Designed to fulfill professional needs and to provide comfort to visitors, the DCU Center features an in-house food service, a full service marketing department, a fully equipped box office, and advanced communication technologies. Along with voice, video, CATV, telephone, and data communication services, the DCU Center offers fiber optic and satellite uplink capabilities.
