Route 146 Improvement Project

Third largest highway project in the state, the four mile stretch linking the Mass Turnpike Interchange and Rt. 146 with I-290 is estimated to cost $300 million. It will provide significant opportunities for environmental enhancement, recreation, historic preservation, and economic development as well as providing an impressive southern gateway into the city.
