Gateway Park

Gateway Park is a 63-acre commercial industrial district being redeveloped by Gateway Park LLC, a partnership between the Worcester Business Development Corporation and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The Gateway Park Master Plan calls for the rehabilitation and construction of buildings containing 1,564,800 square feet of building space.

Presently the Gateway Park LLC is finalizing negotiations on the acquisition of property on the site, and is awaiting word on a $2.5 million dollar grant recently submitted by the City for consideration to the U.S. Economic Development Administration.

The first research building is 50% leased and once the required 75% signed leases is completed, construction of the building will begin. This is anticipated for the Fall of 2004.
