The City of Worcester is committed to providing a streamlined and efficient process for interaction between the Economic Development Division and commercial brokers, property owners, companies, small businesses and developers. "Location Worcester" is an economic development tool that builds and supports Worcester's commercial (office/retail) and industrial base, ensuring that businesses are recruited, maintained, and strengthened within the city.
Site Search Assistance in Worcester
The City of Worcester is firmly committed to the development and support of commerce and industry. The Site Search Assistance Program, administered by the Economic Development Division, is designed to identify available land and building space in coordination with local real estate professionals and property owners. The program coordinates the development efforts of the Economic Development Division with the knowledge and resources of the commercial real estate community to meet the real estate needs of companies, small businesses and developers and helps them locate, stay and grow within the city.
This coordination allows the Economic Development Division to take a proactive approach in retaining and expanding existing businesses and attracting new businesses to Worcester. This tool also assists the Economic Development Division in identifying and understanding the unique requirements of new businesses, including cost, geography, square footage, floor plans, ceiling heights, parking, rail or highway access, loading docks, utility capacity, etc.
Using Location Worcester, our in-house tools and local real estate experts, the Economic Development Division will secure the appropriate property. Whether you are a start-up or an established business, the City of Worcester's Economic Development Division looks forward to working with you to facilitate new investments within the city.

Once installed, you will be able to open any of the Keyhole Markup Language files (KML files) in this program to view the highlighted sites and related information.
