Commercial Area Revitalization District (CARD)
The Commercial Area Revitalization District (CARD) is a predominantly commercial geographic area which has experienced disinvestment demonstrated by loss of commercial enterprises, by commercial buildings with high vacancy rates, by physically deteriorating buildings, or by other reliable indicators.
The Worcester CARD consists of seven districts, which include:
- Canal District
- Downtown
- Lower Lincoln Street Corridor
- Main South
- Pleasant/Chandler Streets Corridor
- Shrewsbury/Arctic/Grafton Streets Corridor
- Southbridge Street/South Worcester Industrial Park (SWIP)
