As the home to two professional sports teams, Worcester sports fans have lots of reason to cheer!

Worcester Tornadoes - Root, root, root for the hometeam - the City’s own boys of summer - the Worcester Tornadoes. In its 5th season as a member of the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball League, the team invites you to have a ball with mascot Twister as the local nine work to bring the Can-Am Championship back to Worcester! The team plays at the Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field on the campus of Holy Cross College.

AHL Worcester Sharks - The City is also the proud home of the Worcester Sharks, the American Hockey League affiliates of the NHL San Jose Sharks. See why Worcester truly is ‘Sharks Territory’ as the team competes to bring the AHL Calder Cup to Worcester. The team and City were proud to host the American Hockey League All-Star Classic in January 2009.
