WOO Card MARKETING: City of Worcester's Cultural Development Office seeks intern(s) who will assist in the marketing and promotion of the WOO Card. The WOO Card is a culture pass, offered free of charge to alll college students at participating COWC campuses and a sister card available for purchase by the general public, which provides access to a number of the City's cultural organizations as well as restaurants, hotels and retailers. A qualified intern should posess good oral and written communication skills. Additionally, qualified intern should illustrat an interest in cultural, economic and community development. Background in marketing and the arts a plus. Some weekend and evening hours may be required. Other duties may arise dependent upon individiual interests and skills.

WEB 2.0 MARKETING: City of Worcester's Cultural Development Office seeks intern(s) who will assist in the production, posting and distribution of podcasts related to cultural activity within the City of Worcester. Familiarity with Podcast Factory and/or comparable software required, as is a creative mind and the ability to work independently. Additionally, qualified intern should illustrate an interest in cultural, economic and community development. Some weekend and evening hours may be required. Other duties may arise dependent upon individual interests and capacities.

MEDIA OUTREACH & SPECIAL EVENT PROMOTION: City of Worcester Cultural Development Office seeks intern(s) who will assist in City and Worcester Cultural Coalition media outreach, and special event promotions and coordination. A qualified intern should illustrate an interest in cultural economic and community development, public relations and special events coordination. Basic knowledge of graphic design tools and/or strong writing skills for press releases and promotional materials are required. Intern will assist in producing a marketing promotions via email, FaceBook, Twitter and other social media outlets. Candidates must have an enthusiasm for public sector work, possess a good sense of humor and be a self-starter. Other duties may arise depending on individual interests and capacities. Some weekends and night time hours may be required. Knowledge of Word, Excel, Photoshop, Constant Contact and PowerPoint are useful.
